Jupiter Golf Courses

Jupiter, a town of about 50,000 mostly seasonal residents, is known for its affluent lifestyle, access to the ocean, and golfing opportunities. On the south side of Jupiter is the famous Ritz-Carlton with its quiet and elegant course nestled among the Audubon Sanctuary. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course was open for play in 2002 and shares a common boundary with The Bear’s Club. The Bear’s Club is Jack’s personal club built on a choice piece of land. Each hole was carefully laid out, inch by inch, tree by tree, by Jack personally. Both of these club locations are directly across Donald Ross Road from Frenchman’s Creek in Palm Beach Gardens.

Just north of the Ritz is Admirals Cove. Although known primarily as Jupiter’s premier waterfront community, Admirals Cove has 45 holes of golf split between the East and West Courses.

On the north side of Admirals Cove is one of Jupiter’s oldest clubs, Jonathan’s Landing, with 3 courses. In town you will find the Village Course which is always a delight to play due to the cool sea breezes which sweep the course every afternoon. But there is another section of Jonathan’s Landing in our western communities and here you will find “The Hills” and “The Fazio” courses designed by the same two men who designed the courses at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens. Also located west of town is the very private course called “The Dye Preserve”.

Back in Jupiter, Jack Nicklaus was also instrumental in the design of The Loxahatchee Club. He has lived in this area for decades, so it’s not unusual to see his trademark on so many courses.

These are the private courses but there are also two public courses. The Abacoa Golf Club is located in southern Jupiter and is known for its slippery greens, while in central Jupiter, the Jupiter Golf Club provides easy access for golfers of all persuasions.

Between Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, you can certainly find plenty of great golfing opportunities.
