Sometimes the best little neighborhoods are those that only the locals know about. Usually, they are a little off the beaten path but sometimes they can be hiding in plain sight. That is the case with the central Jupiter community of Holly Cove. With an inconspicuous entrance off Center Street you might easily drive by, yet you would be missing a small enclave of waterfront homes with direct ocean access.
The homes in Holly Cove are two, three and four bedrooms with private pools and just a little under 2,000 square feet of living space. The homes were built in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s so most have been upgraded to the features today’s homeowner is seeking like granite counters and stainless steel appliances. But the real key feature of the community is the location just off historic Center Street and on the water. These are some of the most modestly priced waterfront homes anywhere along the Jupiter and Tequesta area. From your home here, you can take a modest sized boat directly into the Jupiter Inlet and then into the ocean. Or you can head up the Loxahatchee River, a Federally Designated Wild & Scenic River, into Jonathan Dickinson State Park and wind your way until the River gets too small to navigate. Here, centuries old Cypress Trees tower over the shady River.
Holly Cove has always been popular with families due to its central Jupiter location which means that most schools are “A” rated and our great beaches are only about a 5 minute drive to the east. All 3 Jupiter schools are within about a 4 mile radius. The County Parks of Coral Cove, Dubois Park, the Inlet Park, Jupiter Beach Park and Carlin Park can all be reached after only a 10 minute drive.
