Juno Beach is an area just east of Palm Beach Gardens and south of Jupiter located on a wide stretch of beach and known as a true “beach lovers” paradise. Founded many years ago as a stop for the historic Celestial Railway, Juno Beach was a true oceanfront town long before its neighboring cities grew up and the first place to be built was right along the ocean.
Unlike Jupiter, condos in Juno Beach sit directly on the ocean and the sand area here is wide and clean. One of the earliest condominiums to be built here is The Barclay. Built in the 1960’s, the condos in The Barclay are classic Florida architectural style with only 40 total units each facing directly onto the beach with screened porches to enjoy the tropical breezes which blow in from the ocean daily. These two bedroom, two bath units offer the owner a chance to live directly on the beach where taking in the sun and surf daily will become part of your lifestyle. Forget the cold and snow, move down here and that will be a thing of the past!
Juno Beach also is famous as a haven for nesting sea turtles who return every year to lay eggs along the beach and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center takes in injured turtles for rehabilitation before returning them to the wild. Juno Beach is also famous for its fishing both along the beach and from the Juno Beach Pier. Here fishermen catch snook, mackerel, pompano and cobia as they migrate along the coast.
Due to its ideal location, living in Juno Beach means you can shop and dine in all the restaurants and shops of Palm Beach Gardens and golfers will love all the courses between North Palm Beach and Jupiter to the north.
