One reason so many people move to Jupiter is to live, work and play near the ocean. We have miles of wide, clean beaches where surfers, fisherman, kite boarders and beach-walkers can enjoy the coastal lifestyle. And one of the best locations to enjoy this is from a condo in The Beachcomber.
The name alone evokes images of timeless wandering down the beach seeing what the tide may have brought ashore.
Condos in The Beachcomber are 2 bedroom, 2 bath units and range in size from about 1,500 square feet to around 1,600. Located on US One on the south side of Jupiter, the 56 condos here are situated in an interesting layout and also offer a private access to the beach. The architectural style has a more tropical feel than some other condos in Jupiter.
Although the condos were built in 1985-1986, many have been updated and have stainless appliances, granite counters and new floors. Outside you will find tropical vegetation like palms, flowering oleander and sea grapes.
There are two stories with four units total in each building and the community is gated. Residents live in The Beachcomber due to its fantastic near-the-ocean location and because the community is very well maintained. Although the community is located on the south side of Jupiter, all the amenities of the Town are just a five minute drive up the highway where you can find restaurants serving everything from seafood to steaks.
Almost due east of The Beachcomber is the planned community of Abacoa with golf, baseball, a green market and Scripps Institute. And less than a ten minute drive to the south is the Gardens Mall with Saks, Nordstrom’s and Macy’s. Along the Intracoastal Waterway, you can enjoy waterfront dining at spots like The River House and Seasons 52.
