For the nature lover in you PGA National offers the 112 townhomes in Heather Run. Located on the 240 acre preserve on the west side of PGA National, these two bedroom, two bath units offer both two and three bedroom floor plans which range in size from over 1,500 square feet to nearly 1,900. Inside the Heather Run townhouses you will find high, vaulted ceilings with skylights to allow your home to be bright and cheerful. The 8 foot arched windows allow unimpeded views of the preserve to the rear and the best sunset views in all of PGA National. Many units have built ins in the den and the community has its own pool. Heather Run is tucked away and the circular streets with off shoot cul-de-sacs along Sabal Palm Lane, Rosewood Lane, Heather Run Terrace, and Mahogany Place are simply divine.
PGA National is a carefully planned community of 2,340 acres with 800 acres set aside for green spaces. These green spaces include five golf courses, parks and playgrounds, hiking paths and cycling trails. In addition, 240 acres were set aside on the western side of the development for a natural preserve with a pavilion for viewing the wildlife which includes native wading birds, hawks and owls and possibly an otter or deer.
The heart of PGA National though is the complex of five champion caliper golf courses which wind through the neighborhoods. When the PGA Tour swings through south Florida in the spring, they stop and play the Honda Classic on “The Champion” course.
Although PGA is home to the PGA of America, it is also home to the famous PGA National Resort & Spa. Inside the Resort you will find hotel rooms, an Olympic size pool, luxurious spa amenities and treatments and fine dining. The Resort lifestyle continues outside where 18 tennis courts, indoor racquetball courts and croquet court await you.
PGA provides quick access to cultural locations of downtown West Palm Beach and the airport to the south or Jupiter and Tequesta to the north and the shopping and dining district along the PGA Boulevard corridor.
