Penn Park Jupiter Homes
September 29th, 2011A little bit Pennsylvania can be found in Jupiter Florida, minus the cold winters of course! Penn Park Jupiter homes for sale was one of the earliest developments in Jupiter. These single family homes were constructed starting in the late 1950’s.

Situated in the middle of Jupiter off Indiantown Road, the Pennsylvania theme continues with street names like Erie Drive, Kane Place, Laird Drive, Northview Drive, Philadelphia Drive, and Pittsburgh Drive. California style ranches and easy one level living bring lots of charm to this neighborhood. Most lots are fenced and have generous backyard space. Sizes range from 1100 to 2000 square feet and most homes being on one level gives more useable square feet to the residents.
There is not homeowners association which keeps price extremely affordable. Nearby Eastview Manor Park is a nice spot to relax. Streets are wide and have sidewalks. Philadelphia Street connects from Indiantown to Center Street giving fabulous access to commute almost anywhere. Jupiter’s “A” rated school system is a major draw and a short bike ride gets you to numerous schools. I95, US One, beaches, restaurants, shopping, are all right by your front door.

Jupiter Inlet Weather Camera
August 22nd, 2011On weekends in the summer I like to go for a swim and snorkel by the Jupiter Inlet. I have a Jupiter Inlet Live Camera on my website that gives constant photos, weather updates, and tide chart links on my website. It gives me a good feel of whether to head out to the beach in Jupiter Island for a dip or stay back. This morning I took a look and decided to pass because the waters look a bit murky and a hair rough. However, what most caught my eye was the message on the beach. I couldn’t make it out in the first photo. I zoomed in a bit and saw that the message said, “Hi Mom, Hi Dad with Love”. At least someone remembered DAD!
The cam gives lots of photos and videos, including night shots. I know boaters, fisherman, snorkelers, divers, beachgoers, and people just looking for weather conditions use it all the time.
Keegan Bradley´s home in Jupiter Florida now home to PGA´s Wanamaker Trophy
August 15th, 2011Keegan Bradley, a Jupiter, Florida resident, overcomes a triple bogey on 15 to fall 4 shots behind leader Jason Dufner at the Atlanta Athletic Country Club and then goes on to win the PGA Major championship in a 3-hole playoff.
Bradley, who grew up in Vermont, hated the cold winters there and gave up skiing to chase the little white ball in sunny Jupiter, Florida.

Birdies at 16 and 17 in regulation got him into the playoff, and then a birdie on the first playoff hole set up the win.
Remarkably, Bradley, only 25, was playing in his first Major Tournament and won, something that has only occurred twice in golf’s history. Bradley joins Charl Schwartzel as one of two local area winners of majors in 2011.
