If you’ve ever dreamed of living like a king, than King Arthur Estates in Palm Beach Gardens might be the perfect fit.  Built in 1979 and 1980, this subdivision of 90 duplexes was way ahead of its time and not just the era of the Middle Ages.  The development was built with concrete block construction (CBS) which was not used much near 1980.

Situated in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens, just south of PGA Boulevard on Military Trail to Arthur Street, the community is right near the middle of town.  Close to I95 for easy airport access and nearby proximity to many A and B rated schools, shopping, restaurants, public golf courses and the beaches and waterways of the Atlantic Ocean.

The homeowner association (HOA) fees in King Arthur Estates Palm Beach Gardens homes for sale is absolutely zero.  Also, like a good empire, Florida has no state income tax making cost of living next to nothing in this complex.  Most of the home sites have backyards, screened patios, plus open and spacious floor plans.  Floor plans range from 2 bedroom 2 baths to 3 bedrooms with over 1300 square feet under air.  One would have to put on a suit of armor to battle it out and find a better value than the real estate at King Arthur Estates.

Florida is a transient state and sometimes it’s hard to predict the personality a neighborhood will take.  The 55 and over communities began for this reason.  A more mature population likes predictability and peacefulness and camaraderie can better be assured by limiting wild parties and unruliness that a younger transient sometimes brings with them.

Very few subdivisions were constructed for 55+ in Palm Beach Gardens.  One of the few is the

Longwood Palm Beach Gardens condos.  3 buildings with 126 residents are located on 11811 Avenue of the PGA by PGA Boulevard and Military Trail.  Situated almost equidistant between the Florida Turnpike and I95, this locale is most ideal.

Take a walk to a plethora of fine dining and shopping at the PGA Commons right along the sidewalk of PGA.  Easy access is I95 makes going out of town to Palm Beach International Airport a breeze.  Our famous South Florida beaches are just 10-15 minutes to the east.

The Longwood condominium itself has lots of square footage for the money.  Each residence has volume ceilings with over 1,000 square feet and balconies or patio overlooking garden and lake views.  The condo homeowner association (HOA) costs and fees are low and take care of much for the money.  Lawn care, pest control, common area, pool, roof maintenance, and cable are all in your HOA.  The amenities are plentiful.  Try your hands at billiards, shuffleboard, tennis, or swimming.  Exercise in the fitness center or take a walk or bike ride on the trail along PGA.  A clubhouse with library is great for social activities, card games and meeting your neighbors.

Parking spots with some covered parking is available for all.  Pets are welcome with some restrictions.  Newer roofs and decks have been paid for which will limit surprise assessments.

If you like to live in the country and don’t want to be near the heart of the action, than Legacy Place Palm Beach Gardens condos are not for you.  The 381 condominiums and townhomes are spread out over 12 buildings at the residences of Legacy Place are incredibly in demand because of the so hard to find new construction of 2004 and they are so close to the best shopping in town.

Palm Harbour or Palm Harbor Palm Beach Gardens homes are a waterfront community and a GPS nightmare.  Even one could understand Dan Quayle being confused on how to spell this street.  The entrance sign to Palm Harbour is spelled with a U in Harbour.  However, punch that into your navigation system and nothing will show.  That is because this quiet subdivision of just 20 homes has a street that is named Palm Harbor.  There is no U in Harbor for the street name.  Other than this odd bit of street naming trivia, which residents delight in, the community is a smash.  Most residents have dropped the U and go with the Harbor spelling and we will as well.

Palm Harbor Palm Beach Gardens homes for sale are located off Prosperity Farms Road in-between Donald Ross Road and PGA Boulevard.  This dead end street has homes that were built starting in 1986 and 1987.  There is a community day dock that all residents enjoy and give everyone access to the Intracoastal waterway for boating and fishing fun on the community beach.
