appreciating some of the finest vistas in the United States. The Intracoastal bridge to Jupiter Island is gorgeous. To the south is the Jupiter Lighthouse and the north offers amazing glacier-blue waters that are a boater's dream. A fisherman’s paradise is on the bridge itself and boaters dock by the east side to play in the shallow waters. The east side of Beach Road is on the Atlantic Ocean.
Jupiter Inlet Colony, a small town of 236 single-family homes, is to the north, right after crossing the bridge. Surfers, snorkelers, boaters, and beach goers frequent this most-popular area daily.
There are 2 parks. Coral Cove is a public park with incredible limestone rock formations. Snorkelers frequent in the summertime as the water drops off immediately 10-15 feet from shore. All sorts of tropical fish, turtles, manatees and seashells can be seen. The winter months bring larger waves which attract the surfers. Another park is located on Jupiter Island itself. Blowing Rocks is an inexpensive admission park. There is a beautiful sightseeing walkway. At certain times of the year turtles come home to lay their eggs.
Many of the condos have private beaches. Some residents have their own boat docks and belong to the JIB Club. A fair amount of the buildings have private doormen, exercise rooms, indoor parking, and community pools. The Carlyle, Passages and Claridge are the most prestigious and luxurious of the 18 buildings. Downtown Tequesta is just across the Jupiter Island bridge and is home to some of the finest seafood eateries in the United States. The condos on Jupiter Island are noted for their tranquility and privacy. If you travel just a bit farther north on Beach Road, you will leave Palm Beach County and enter Martin County. Jupiter Island in Martin County is home to some of the wealthiest people worldwide, including Tiger Woods, Celine Dion, and Greg Norman.
